Welcome

Pascale LehouxThe purpose of this blog is to disseminate the results of research on medical innovations and to foster debate on these innovations. We select these innovations for discussion based on several criteria: they are controversial, they are being debated in scientific publications or in the media, they are of particular concern to the public, or they have an impact on public health.

Our goal is not only to provide accurate and independent information, but also to stimulate reflection and debate. This is why you will get to know the views of stakeholders (patient groups, professional groups, industry, decision-makers, etc.). Please note that our activities are exclusively funded through public research funds.

We offer articles, tools and links to help you better understand the issues, conduct your own personal research and discuss the topics with those around you.

We solicit the participation of colleagues from around the world so that we can better understand their concerns and explore the solutions they propose.

Our collaborators in Quebec will be addressing very concrete topics such as the policies they would like to see implemented in order to improve the health of our population and ensure our healthcare system is governed responsibly.

We would also like to hear from you on these topics.

Welcome! And please come visit us often!
