Updated information on HPV vaccination safety

Information update: HPV vaccination safetyIn June 2008, the media reported that the Food and Drug Administration had received over 8000 reports of serious adverse events following HPV vaccination with Gardasil. This, of course, raised consumers’ and parents’ concerns regarding the safety of this vaccination.

However, according to information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it seems that no links were found between these adverse events and the vaccination itself.
