Health Technology Assessment of Medical Devices in Canada
In this position statement, Canada’s Medical Device Technology Companies (MEDEC) explains its stance toward Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and raises a number of issues.
MEDEC stresses that HTA agencies should avoid duplication in HTA reports, develop a model for assessing medical devices and enable access to innovations.
